Taking the Plunge

Ruby Daniels is a pen name. I’m sure if you really wanted to dig, you would be able to find out what my real, legal name is. And that’s totally okay with me. It doesn’t need to be a big secret.

I’m writing under Ruby’s name because I feel like there’s another author voice inside of me. There’s a dirty girl in there that’s begging to be let out. That wants to write kinky things. Raunchy things.

I’ve already made a name for myself in the romance world. I usually write emotional stuff. The deep stuff where characters have real world problems like abusive parents or addiction problems.

But that’s not all I want to write.

I want to write a story about a woman empowered to take her sexuality in her own hands. I want to write a story about a man who knows how to take, but really fucking knows how to give.

So this is me, taking the plunge. Diving in with both feet and hoping it all turns out okay.
